BIOGRAPHICAL NOTEMr. Mohomo was born at Johannesburg in 1930, read law at the University of Cape Town and at Grays Inn, London, and undertook post-graduate studies at MIT, obtaining a master's degree in political science (1968). He has served as chief editor of Maffri News Agency, Johannerburg, was a founding member of the Pan Africanist Congress of South Africa, one of two major resistance movements in South Africa, and organized a refugee and community center in the Republic of Botswana. A freelance journalist. he also lectured exstensively in America, Europe and Africa on the economic and political problems of developing countries and the stuggle for liberation in South Africa.SUMMARY Mr. Mahomo stressed first that Blacks in Southern Africa haven't "chosen violence" but have had that out to them as their last option in the face of intolerable infringement and denial of human and civil rights, second that in their future course these people expect little or no support from anyone outside of the African continent.
