    Remark:
This booklet is one of twelve published by Rekos in Greek, apparently upon the designs done by Susaeta for a European-language edition. Its sixteen pages display excellent and lively colored illustrations. This good version of FS may have its best illustration in the centerfold: the fox is licking his soup bowl clean while the stork is still slirping at his full bowl. The following spread contrasts well the glum stork and the triumphant fox. In this version, the fox cannot even reach up to the top of the beaker in which his meal is served. He slinks home sullen in the last picture.
