    Remark:
This booklet is one of twelve published by Rekos in Greek, apparently upon the designs done by Susaeta for a European-language edition. Its sixteen pages display excellent and lively colored illustrations. This version features two mice playing. The first seems to hop across the lion's paw. The lion reacts by catching the second. Perhaps the best illustrations are two two-page spreads. The first, just before the centerfold, shows the lion angry at a lively mouse caught in his paw. The second, the centerfold itself, switches positions of the two characters, gives the lion a big laugh, and lets the mouse go free off the right-hand side of the page.
